5 July 2002; I was approaching Antelope Spring from the west on Notch Peak Loop Road travelling east through Dome Canyon Pass with the Middle Range and Howell Peak to the south and Swasey Peak in the Swasey Mountains to the north. While on this road I saw a badger and a jack rabbit and just minutes before I took this image I saw a small herd of pronghorn antelope. This was on my way to dig for trilobites near Antelope Spring. While driving on this dirt road my camper trailer filled with dust through holes in the wheel wells and the back window. However, it was a beautiful scenic drive through the hills in this area of western Utah and I was happy to be there.
