Nothing I Can Do
A woman came home from work one day to find that her dog was lying on the ground, not moving. She called her dog and nothing happened. So, worried that her long time friend had perished, she picked him up and took him to the vet. Once at the Vet, she asked if there was anything that he could do for her pet. The Vet responded, "your dog has died, and there is really nothing I can do." "What do you mean, isn't there anything you can do?" "Well," said the Vet, "I can try something." So the Vet went into the back and brought out a Pet-Taxi with a cat inside. He opened up the door and the cat proceeded to walk around the fallen dog a couple of times. No response from the dog. The cat went back into the cage and the Vet replied, "I don't know what else to do." "Well, thank you for trying, how much do I owe you?" "$330," replied the Vet. "$330!! for what?" answered the disgruntled woman. "$30 for the visit and $300 for the CAT-Scan."
