- 4. May I bring and run a generator while I camp in TLC?
-
You may bring and run a generator at TLC, however, you must follow some common sense rules. Your generator must be relatively quiet so that it does not disturb other people (at any time). The exhaust must not be pointed at anyone's tent and it is a requirement that it be piped or ducted to above your vehicle so the exhaust is carried away in the wind over everyone's heads. You should not run it between 1 A.M. and 10 A.M. since those are quiet hours while people are sleeping. If you are asked to turn it off you must turn it off. If you refuse to turn it off when asked then you may be a required to leave the camp.
